Function Scripting

If the booking is a repeat event, script from event. Alternatively, script from template.

Script From Event

Within the event:

  • Select the Functions tab.
  • Select the Entire Event function.
  • From the context menu, select Tools > Script from Event. Functions - Script from event
  • Search for the event by the event ID or description in the Event search field.
  • Select the event.
  • Select Search.
  • Select the functions to copy, then Select. Script from event - Search
  • This will open the Paste Functions pane. There are various options here as to what function information is copied here, but this should be tailored to what needs to be kept. Paste functions
  • If either the Function Validation Warnings pane or an Invalid Space notification appears, read through the warnings and acknowledge them by selecting OK. Invalid space
  • Adjust functions based on the warning.
  • Verify functions for accuracy and that they are in-line with event requirements and adjust or add information where necessary.

Script From Event Template

Within the event:

  • Select the Functions tab.
  • Select the Entire Event function.
  • From the context menu, select Tools > Script from Event Functions - Script from event
  • For an event template, type template into the Event search field.
  • Select the event template. Functions - Script from event template
  • Select Search.
  • Select the functions you wish to copy, then Select. Script from event - Search
  • This will open the Paste Functions pane. There are various options here as to what function information is copied here, but this should be tailored to what needs to be kept. Paste functions
  • Select OK.
  • If either the Function Validation Warnings pane or an Invalid Space notification appears, read through the warnings and acknowledge these by selecting OK. Invalid space
  • Adjust the function spaces and times to resolve the conflicts.
  • Verify functions for accuracy and that they are in-line with event requirements and adjust or add information where necessary.
